Yachts & Boutique Resorts

Vibrant City Chic on the water and beyond — interiors for moving lives where elegance and motion belong to the same language.

Vibrant City Chic in motion

A yacht is the most distilled form of interior design. Every centimetre is a decision. Every material has to live with salt, motion, sun and the constant company of those who chose to be there.

A boutique hotel — a quiet residency, a coastal retreat, a villa offered as a place to stay — works on the same edge. Less than a home, but never a room.

Both ask the same question: how do you make a space feel like the only place to be, in the few days a person will spend in it?

How S.E.A. reads a home in motion

Most yacht design today plays one of two roles. The first imitates the city — wood panelling, club chairs, an interior that looks like it could have come from Mayfair if you removed the windows. The second imitates the sea — pale linen, blue accents, a coastal cliché that forgets the boat is a precision instrument. Most boutique hospitality plays the same two roles in a different setting.

SEA works at the third point. A yacht or a boutique stay that holds authored character — not borrowed from the city, not surrendered to the sea. Italian school of compact design — proportions, joinery, materials that earn their place in a tight footprint. The freedom of open water as the second layer — light, motion, openness, the discipline of a horizon line. The character of the client running through every surface, because in fifteen square metres of cabin, nothing is generic by accident.

A yacht concept developed for the Oceanco international design competition. A diploma project at IED Milan reimagining the interior of a 50-metre yacht for a public figure who lives at full speed. Conceptual studies for boutique residencies — places to stay that hold the rhythm of a real home, in a few days of a real life.

These are the studio's first explorations of a direction it intends to grow. Yacht design and boutique hospitality are part of SEA's roadmap toward 2028 and beyond — the territory where the studio's authored language extends past private homes into the places where life moves.
